1. ALWAYS check with your school BEFORE making application to FFNA. (Some schools require that a student must be enrolled in the school before he can apply for financial aid. Also, some schools may not have scholarship funds left.) THE ON-LINE PROCESSING FEE IS A NON-REFUNDABLE FEE. 2. Step-by-step detailed instructions are available by clicking “Print Instructions.” It is important to follow the instructions given to save time and to prevent errors. 3. FFNA WILL NOT accept applications that are printed using our on-line form. If you need a paper application, contact your school for an original form. 4. You will need a valid credit card to pay for your processing fee at the completion of the on-line application. The non-refundable fees are as follows:

time is a good faith estimate but is not guaranteed by FFNA. 5. When you submit your application successfully, you will see a screen that says, “Congratulations, you have one more step. You must fax or mail a copy of your taxes to FFNA.” You will be instructed to “click here” to receive a Fax Cover Sheet that you will send with your taxes. Print a copy of the Fax Cover Sheet. (If a printer is not available, you may create your own cover sheet by copying the same information that is given on the cover sheet.) You will also receive an e-mail confirmation that your credit card has been charged. 6. Fax or mail
a copy of your taxes (1040 forms, not W-2’s or pay stubs, along
with any necessary Schedules per the instructions)
to FFNA. Necessary Schedules would include A, B, C, C EZ, D, E, and/or
F. Be sure to include a copy of the cover sheet. Also, if you have income
or a loss due to an S Corporation or Partnership on line 17, you will
also need to include your S Corporation or partnership taxes. If income
is less than or only slightly higher than your annual tuition, you will
need to complete a Net Worth Statement. A download copy is available

here. 7. If no taxes are filed, you must still supply supporting documentation of income, such as a statement of your annual salary on company letterhead and signed by your supervisor.
8. Due to the volume of faxes that FFNA receives, we are unable to contact each parent to confirm the receipt of your faxed taxes. However, you may check the status of your application by clicking here. PLEASE ALLOW FFNA 24 HOURS AFTER THE RECEIPT OF YOUR APPLICATION IN THE FFNA OFFICE TO POST THE INFORMATIOIN ON THE WEB. your situation requires an explanation beyond the scope of the application,
include a brief letter explaining your situation. Be brief, but give
specific financial detail! A copy of your taxes must still accompany
