“How
Our School Is Making the Funding Paradigm Shift”
Isn't
this what you want for your school?
You can join a growing number of successful Christian schools that
are committed to excellence and that agree the best way to determine
the financial needs of a family is to require the parents to submit
detailed financial statements annually for review and analysis.
FFNA will recommend a percentage of total tuition for financial
aid based on a standard computation determined by FFNA. The
schools always remain in control. Final decisions on financial
aid are made by participating schools. All schools that participate
with FFNA agree that grants will be available to applicants regardless
of race, color and national or ethnic origin. |
 |
Who should apply?
As a general rule of thumb, if a family's total income is under $42,000
and their tuition is over $2,000, they will probably qualify for financial
aid. FFNA recommends that schools offer minimum aid of $300 and maximum
aid of 50% of tuition. However, FFNA can increase or decrease the maximum
percentage at the school's request.
Income over $42,000
Once a family's income exceeds $42,000, then their tuition must be at
least 10% of their income to qualify for financial aid. (e.g., an income
of $50,000 would require a tuition of $5,000 or more to qualify for
aid.)
Cost
of Services
FFNA has an annual participation fee that is paid by the school. The
schools also purchase parent application forms from FFNA. However, schools
will not need a paper application for those who choose to complete an
application on-line.
